100% Renewable Energy Default
Communities In CAlifornia

Thanks to communities going Green by Default, over 3.5 million people across these diverse 39 cities and counties have virtually eliminated greenhouse gas emissions from their electricity supply. That's nearly 10% of California's population. We're reaching a critical mass and tipping point. This remarkable progress began in 2018 and has continued to pick up momentum. These communities are achieving clean energy targets decades ahead of the state's 2045 goal. Over 9 million tons of GHGs and $1 billion in social costs of carbon have been avoided as a result.
