Irvine, 300,000+ people, leading the way on clean energy!

On 2/8/2022, Irvine city council voted unanimously to set their default at 100% renewable energy. The city is now poised to be the largest city / second largest municipality (behind LA County) in the country on renewable energy. 3 out of 4 member agencies of Orange County Power Authority have set their defaults at 100%.

On March 2, South Pasadena city council voted to move commercial accounts to 100% renewable energy, so now both residential and commercial are defaulted at 100%. South Pasadena is part of Clean Power
